Without Lotus

As the subject tells there is no lotus here, but still some flower-color patches are put into the paper. It would not look appealing if no such colors are there.. It was just about painting..how bout your life..it has all the colors na??

Another Pair of Boat..

Another Pair of Boat..Though Boat is not my subject..Just the bright color of it is what I wanted..The world is very colorful and attractive all across..


As much as I see, I paint, I improve my color sense...The balcony over the left boat should catch your attention..

Watercolor on Canvas..

"Water color on Canvas looks pretty bright and color does not fade after drying up", I heard it from my Art teacher 6 years back..But this is my first water color on Canvas..I usually prefer old fashioned costly water color paper..And truly speaking the experience was great.

My major point of concentration in this painting was the left Boat and and the background. The tile roofs on either side are adding additional beauty with flowers in their balcony.

The Audi A8..

I like this extremely stylish sedan car from the brand 'AUDI' but I like Audi R8 sports car more than this...

Though the red body could have appeared good..but still I painted it black..becoz black is classic..I do find some flaws in it but nothing wrong in putting it in the blog as well..

I diminished few unlucky ppl in the painting..In the end am not satisfied with this..Don't know when am I going to attempt on the very same picture...:)..

Painted my own converse shoe..

Usually my shoes do not shine, I wash my shoes rarely..like once in 6 months...I don't know what caused me paint my dirty converse shoe..
I have not tried to show any dirt here :P..

Have painted only one of them..other wise It might had comments like.."are both of them of the same pair"..just kiddin. :P..

This is a water color painting on costliest of water color paper..dark shadows are what I wanted to put focus on.may be that is what under your attention..

The wave and splash Challenge

The challenge was how to describe the water wave and the splash of water..used some wax and added the water color to achieve this.

This was done more than 6 years back..Wanted to post something. But there was no energy after a long exhausted day in office, a good day though. Hope to at least sketch after another hour. it's 11:24 PM right now. Have nice time frndz...

A Fan of Chris Beck

I have always been learning from Chris. His style is umm..I dont have words. I picked one of his old one to get better in classic style. I have to be Faster to keep the paper wet.

The wash work and load shedding..

After the first wash..had a 15 minutes load shedding time out..I wanted to put some more wet in wet..but load shedding completely dried it up and I could not add any dark patches to show depth of the forest..

In the end this is what the result is..

I have never been to such a place though.
The burnt sienna over the cobalt blue in background could have been painted better..I thought initially and was about to torn it apart..But I turned around concentrated on the timberline and added krummholz formation Now the background does not distract because the timberline does not let you look or concentrate on other parts :)

Greenery in town...

Wanted to show the building a little faint and wanted to concentrate on the front greenery and the nearby buildings...
I learned one thing after this was complete..Not to forget to put more wet in wet to show proper greenery..because when color dries up it becomes faint and it doesn't appear that attractive..

Color on sketch: Door

Initially I wanted to sketch using wax but ended up doing it with a pin point pen, experimented and applied water color in the end to add additional effects...
Its done in my sketch book and is a small sketch..
10X7 inches in size..:)

Two friends: Somewhere in Swiss

It is a picture taken somewhere in Swiss, two friends of mine namely Sankha and Rohan. Either of the two has taken this pic. And as was my comment on the pic in FB "eta to paint-o kora jabe...re..dwnload korlam...:)" "This can be painted boss, downloaded" here comes the painting...Not very colorful though somewhat attractive...Friends keep posting something I can paint....luv u guys... ;)
